I have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels around the world. But…I have to say I have never experienced a hotel quite like the Yas Viceroy Hotel in Abu Dhabi. This extraordinary hotel has a futuristic, space-age look and is located on the Formula One Racetrack overlooking the Yas Marina where some of the most expensive yachts in the world are docked.
This is the perfect dual honeymoon destination. Why I hear you say? Well, you get to have the best of both worlds! Newlyweds can enjoy total relaxation one week and then the next week watch, in real life, fast and furious cars at the Grand Prix World Championship wiz by at 200 mph from the comfort of your balcony.

I thoroughly enjoyed a few days of the peace and tranquility before the start of the hectic Grand Prix weekend. It was quite interesting to watch the transformation once the Grand Prix starts; from a lovely, calm, relaxing atmosphere to the hotel being fully booked, the hotel kindly gave all the guests earplugs due to the almost deafening sound of the fast cars racing past.
We had access to the Pit Lane Walk on the practice day, which was absolutely amazing to be able to see the drivers up close. PRICELESS! And, as an added bonus, we were presented with several complimentary gifts including a cool Viceroy Baseball cap, designer wallet or purse, and luxury skincare, a really classy touch.
