In an effort to preserve our youth, many of us skincare lovers are continuously looking for the latest and greatest cosmeceutical products on the market to incorporate into our daily skincare routines. Finding the right products can be a challenge – as hundreds of skincare lines exist to choose from. After working with and testing out numerous skincare lines on my clients (and myself) over the past year, these products in particular stood out as industry winners among the other skincare products I have previously published. Used in the order listed, these are part of my own personal (and carefully curated) skincare regimen:
1) Limelight by Alcone – Quench Cleanse Cleanser: Alcone recently introduced Limelight – their new cosmetic and skincare consumer line (previously, Alcone was marketed primarily to professional makeup artists). Limelight’s skincare products are all free of parabens, organic, and leaping bunny certified. This cleanser in particular is crafted using aloe Vera, rose flower water, wheat germ oil, and foraha fruit seed oil – all of which together heal and hydrate the skin, treat eczema, psoriasis, and stretch marks, and support cellular immunity and skin cell tissue strength. For normal to dry skin types, perform cleansing in the morning by massaging product over the entire face and neck. Remove by first splashing the face with warm water followed by a splash of cold water after all of the product is removed. 2) HydroPeptide – Power Serum: One of many great products this line offers, HyrdoPeptide’s Power Serum visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, increases skin elasticity, and illuminates the skin via 13 peptides, growth factor activating plant extracts, and alpha lipoic acid – an acid known to deliver exceptional antioxidant protection. It has a pleasant natural scent free of artificial fragrance, parabens, phthalate, sulfates, and phenoxyethanol. Power Serum works great on all skin types, and should be applied after cleansing the skin AM and PM. Only a pea-sized amount is needed for the entire face and neck. 3) Amarte – Aqua Cream: A leading luxury cosmeceutical Korean skincare brand and beauty authority throughout Asia, Amarte’s Aqua Cream is an antioxidant-packed revitalizing moisturizer created using arbutin, nanoencapsulated 1% retinol, and allanoin to brighten, heal, and rejuvenate the skin by increasing cell turnover. After just one month of daily use, Aqua Cream has actually removed superficial sunspots from its users. This is a great product to use daily on the face and neck – especially in the AM after cleansing and applying your favorite face serum. 4) Re:Beauty – RE:FRESH Moisturizing Overnight Mask with Re:Vitaplex™: A number of products within the Re:Beauty line incorporate Re:Vitaplex™ – an exclusive custom proprietary mixture of highly effective plant-based micro peptides and other natural ingredients crafted to restructure, repair, and illuminate the skin. This overnight mask in particular is formulated using marine extracts and antioxidants that boost collagen, skin luminosity, skin elasticity, and diminish damage caused by environmental free radicals. The product is luxuriously soft and non-greasy. In the morning, you really will wake up with ultra-hydrated skin. This product is to be applied on cleansed skin biweekly at the end of your PM skincare routine before bed (only a small amount is needed to cover a thin layer onto the face and neck). Remove with a warm washcloth in the morning prior to beginning your AM skincare routine. For more information of this product and the Re:Beauty skincare line, visit their website here.
