Finding exciting, relevant information for each and everyone one of you guys, our readers is a labor of love. So for us the World Bride Magazine team, we decided to invite an actual bride to the table and have her document her journey as she prepares to say “I do”. So we are so proud to introduce you our readers to the fabulous Karis Renee and Blake McNamara to take over our WBM blog as they go through the process of planning their wedding every step of the way.

Hello, Readers! My name Karis Renee, and I’ll be your #WorldBrideInsider. In addition to being a huge style fanatic, I also just got engaged!! We are so excited for the big day, but as you already know… it’s going to take a lot of planning. I’ll be your very own personal World Bride Insider, taking you along for the ride as I, my crew, and my boo get closer to saying “I do!”
It may not be easy, but it sure is going to be fun! Follow along by subscribing to my new WBM column, my blog, and my wedding hashtag #McNamarried as I take you step-by-step behind the scenes into what I’m learning about becoming a modern World Bride.
A little about my beau, Blake McNamara. He is an up and coming professional actor, who is thrilled to be taking on a brand new role as ‘husband’ in this year’s wedding to remember with me as his leading lady & fiance.
With over 8 years of acting experience in film, tv, and stage, Blake McNamara brings a fun-loving personality and special charm to both the studio set and the taproom where he works as Brewmaster’s Assistant. When he’s not preparing for a scene, Blake can be found at Pegasus City Brewery (Dallas, TX), grinding grain, canning beer, or even tending bar at The Tiny Tap.
Blake has also been seen around the DFW area in The Nether with Stage West Theatre, Othello with Second Thought Theatre, Foot Loose with Imagination Players, Titus Andronicus, Tartuffe, and Troilus & Cressida with Shakespeare Dallas. Blake is a graduate of KD Conservatory College of Film and Dramatic Arts and is represented by Kim Dawson Agency.
