Anne Barge Fall 2019 Bridal Collection is described as full of mystery and surprise. This season, inspiration is described as taken from a photograph perspective, each dress open to interpretation based on the viewer’s lens. Pretty much the way a bride would like to see envision herself at her wedding. The strong, architectural, silhouettes of the gowns are accented by ethereal floating layers of embroidered illusion tulle, silk organza, and abstract floral jacquard. Structural, minimalist pieces are given a soft touch of feminism with tulle ruffles, pearl accented beading and embroidery, and cascading soutache bows.
While the design team may describe the collection as, “the simple sophistication of the Fall 2019 designs paired with whimsical elements of surprise delivers a romantic collection with a modern-day twist. ” There was nothing simple about the collection. Some of the gowns were filled with beautiful details and textured fabrics. And not to mention how some ball gowns were beautifully layered.
Anne barge hair was lean and sleek with a modern twist on top. The hair remaining was fashioned to hang straightly. This look presented a fresh approach to 2019 elegance. It perfectly highlighted a romance of sorts between the coral red lips, natural makeup and sophistication of the timeless designs.
