“How do you keep your looks fresh?” was the first question I asked Tadashi Shoji.  “I picked a theme. I was inspired by my travel to Southeast Asia. I saw the movie–Crazy Rich Asians– and wondered who are these people.  I must go and see about this.”  was the responses I got from Tadashi Shoji.

While we may be a bridal magazine expected to cover everything bridal. Many of you must keep in mind that brides don’t walk around naked before the wedding and won’t do so after the wedding (unless they want to).  There will be many occasions for brides to wear these illustrious gowns– rehearsal dinner, meet the parents’ dinner, the second dress, honeymoon, and more importantly date-night which will go on forever after you say I do.

So invest in your wardrobe with timeless pieces that will make a statement and will look red carpet ready as so many of Tadashi Shoji’s dress seem to do for me.  Thus the reason I continue to interview him every year and want to know what makes his runway so exciting.

This season he showed even more diversity in not only the model’s skin tone but in body diversity.  I fell in love and we are sure you will too.

Whatever the occasion— look into owning a slamming piece from Tadashi Shoji.  The collection was inspired by a culture which is rich in color, beauty and stunning architecture, which will tell you why Tadashi simply had to incorporate in his collection this season.

The diversity in his runway is a direct reflection of Southeast Asian traditional dress which is as diverse as its landscape, it shares the common bonds of beauty and fascination. Graceful proportions inform each look.
