Something Blue
So you’re off to a great start in planning your wedding. You’ve steadily checked off items that are finalized: my dress—done, groom’s boutonniere—done, the garter belt—done, something blue?

Traditionally, something blue is a treasured keepsake that a loved one gifts you on your special day. I’m not sure if you want to discard such a treasured momentum, but you can add a new, beautiful twist on such a tradition by making that something blue your hair.

A New Twist On Something Blue

Something treasured, something blue, something beautiful that reflects you! Bold, beautiful blue hair is an amazingly, gorgeous way to introduce a new twist on something blue. The most important thing about your wedding is you being you, you being happy and you being beautiful–blue hair and all, if that’s what you decide to do!

Bold, Beautiful and Blue

If you traditionally wear bold hair colors then it would be much of the same for your wedding. If you are thinking about adding a bold color, trying it the week before the wedding is not the time to experiment. It’s best to begin months before the wedding. Ideally, you want to give yourself plenty of time to experiment, wear and love your new color before the wedding. It is very important to consult with a professional colorist before entertaining any color options. You want to understand the process, the effect color will have on your hair and how you will maintain healthy hair after color has been applied. So, something blue—done… my hair!
**Note: Wigs, weaves, and hairpieces are all great ways to introduce color without actually coloring your own hair.
