From New York Fashion Week To An Engagement During London’s Fashion Week
She said yes, she will marry him… She is Carissa Rosario, international model and He is James Anderson, linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. The couple has been inseparable, even though both are successful in their careers and they find time for each other and to give back.
This incredibly photogenic couple is indeed the subject of many international paparazzi. Their relationship began a year ago at the New York Fashion Week and has crossed the Atlantic to the London Fashion Week for a fairytale engagement. The evening was filled with pomp and circumstance at the 5 Star Savoy Hotel where they spent the evening sipping champagne with their star-studded friends and relatives.
When we finally caught up with James to get the whole story and he was delighted to share with us that, before they went to Europe, he asked Carissa what she most wanted to do in London if there was time and she replied that she wanted Tea Time and a private tour of London. So, the next day they began their journey with a 4.5 hour private tour of London.
The Tea at The Savoy Hotel is an enduring custom where guests can choose from a range of teas served with finger sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream & jam and a selection of clotted cream & jam seasonal cakes and pastries created in house by The Savoy’s Executive Pastry Chef, Ludwig Hely. After Tea they hurried upstairs to get ready for a cruise, where the proposal would take place in The Parlor, which is a Private Member Club that was closed especially for them and their A-list guests. When Carissa entered the room, Luther Vandross’ song, “If this world was mine” was playing. James emerged from behind the curtain, they started dancing and then he proposed and of course, she said yes to a room filled with applause.
….Awwwwww! I know every woman is reading and dreaming! Very romantic. And as Carissa’s dear friend Deenie Robins confirmed, “We were part of a three day engagement weekend for more than 50 friends and family. The proposal was beautiful with their favorite champagne and the dinner at Clos Maggiore, which by the way was voted London’s most romantic restaurant. She was ecstatic and after this fabulous evening with us, when she arrived in her room roses were everywhere; rose petals shaped in a heart on the bed, in the bath on the floor and of course more champagne. What a happy beginning to an amazing life together.”
