OCC is most recognized for their infamous Lip Tar – a highly pigmented liquid lipstick available in over 40 different matte and metallic colors. To create the perfect long-lasting lip, this requires more then lipstick alone. Long-lasting lips require lip primer, a lip pencil, lipstick, and a quality lip brush – all of which OCC is able to provide. Below I will list step-by-step instructions on how you can achieve the prefect long-lasting lip whether it is for a night out on the town or for your big day.
1) Prime the Lips: Using OCC’s Lip Tar/Primer, apply a small bead to the center of the lip and blot with the tip of your finger outward. This product (a blend of essential oils) not only conditions and rehydrates the lips, but also prevents dry lips from tearing during lip pencil application. Allow to fully absorb into the lips.
2) Define the Lips: After priming the lips, outline the lips using OCC’s clear primer pencil. This prevents the lip tar from feathering during and/or after application – making the lip tar even more long lasting. For an even more defined look, use an OCC lip pencil in the same color as the lip tar (if available).
3) Color the Lips: Once the lip pencil has been applied, use OCC’s #010 Precision Lip Brush to apply a small bead of OCC’s Lip Tar in your chosen color to the center of the lips. Brush outward and carefully along the edges of the lip up to and over the lip pencil previously applied. Apply more lip tar in small amounts as needed. Allow the lip tar to set, and you’re all set for whatever your pending day and/or night entails!
