Parisian designer Christophe Guillarmé’s collection Bloody Madone showcases his signature Dolce Vita style which strives to attract red carpet glamour of today’s icons. This sensibility is fueled by global distribution and notably his showroom in Cannes, where he’s been dressing stars from around the world since 2003.

Almost 20 years after his first collection, Guillarmé’s maturity as an accomplished designer was celebrated on the runway at Harbin Fashion Week, as he showcased immaculately fitted bodices and dramatic voluminous skirts. “The collection was beautiful, by far one of my favorite,” said Cedric Turk, Executive Vice-President of an international luxury brand.

Varying the theme both short and long, the brilliant colors and graphic floral prints were in great proportion to the bold silhouettes of tailored softness. Model after model showcased an elegant parade of nostalgic modernity, an attribute that’s seemingly become one of Guillarmé’s statements.

Mr. Guillarmé says, “ I was pleased to be a part of Harbin Fashion Week this season, even if it’s the coldest city I’ve visited so far: it was really warm atmosphere and amazing venue. It was a great moment to share about fashion.” And that’s what Guillarmé did, right down to his concisely executed finale. This show was a great note for the final evening of Harbin Fashion Week.
