NYBFW- THE SECRET GARDEN OF MADELINE GARDNER FOR MORI LEE

New York BRIDAL FASHION WEEK OCTOBER 2018

When it comes to a woman’s wedding dress one size does not fit all.  Women want options.  So for any designer to place her in a box and tell her what is suited for her, you can already count that woman as a loss of a customer.

A bride that is searching for her dress, what promises to be one of the most important days of her life, doesn’t want to settle.  She doesn’t want to be limited to a few “pretty” dresses.  She wants to know you the designer thought of her through your design process and you are going to inspire her and help her bring her dreams to life.

New York Bridal Fashion Week is one of the most important times in our industry.  It is with you in mind that we work so tirelessly to bring you some of the greatest finds for your upcoming nuptials.  Our goal is to sift through all the noise, all the options, and present you some of the most amazing designers, that we feel not only created gowns to sell to you but designers that thought of you while creating each piece and saw a clear vision of “YOU”.  You the bride that deserves and has earned their business.

In the next couple of days, you will read a series of articles that will showcase some of our favorite designers that we feel had you in mind when creating their collection.

Up first, Madeline Gardner.  Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner presented her beautiful collection that was very garden inspired.  The collection was a perfect blend of a pretty woman, to the empowered woman confident in her femininity, with a subtly sexy way about her.

“When I design I always think of all the women out there.  We come in all different shapes and sizes, all different customs, ethnicities, who needs to wear sleeves, who loves their neckline, who doesn’t love their arms.  So, I always think of those things, but I want them to look exquisite.”

When I asked Madeline what keeps her still excited about bridal, her response was priceless, “I love the feeling of bringing a bridal dress to a couture level.  For me, the bride is the ultimate.”

Madeline’s attention to detail is apparent by the wonderful elements she adds to each of her gowns when appropriate-such as a pocket, or a great back and the use of the some of the most amazing of fabrics which she sources from all over the world where she gets her inspiration.

So be bold wearing your Madeline Gardner creation, whatever dress you choose.
