Designer Claudia Montez has been in business for some 12 years officially making her an expert.  A hobby turned into a full business that promises to be a flourishing one at that.

I was inspired by the idea of photo lockets, that’s how the business began. I started working with Sterling silver, 14kt Gold Fill, Rose gold fill, leather, Resin, Swarovski Crystals, Brass, all sorts of natural gemstones, like freshwater pearls, labradorite, Chalcedony and so many more. That is the beauty of jewelry design, there are so many material options.

What is unique about each piece?

Personalized pieces are always special because each piece is made by hand for that specific order, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike. The personalized process is about love and dedication to your craft for sure, especially with some of our more intricate and detailed personalized products. Its a labor of love as all our pieces are made by hand.

How do you get inspired to create a piece?

It’s always different, sometimes I have a very specific design of something I want to create or try and so you go about trying it. But sometimes I have a material or a gemstone that I have picked up or had for a long time and I come back to it and a design comes to me.

How many pieces do you create per season/year?

I don’t really keep track. I create out of passion and love and inspiration but I think in part, the reason our customers keep coming back is because they know I love to design and add new designs frequently.

Where can readers buy your products?

What makes this a great gift for a bride? Bridal party?

Personalization is not a dying trend, it’s here forever. Its been around from the beginning of jewelry design and it’s here to stay. It’s also a piece that after the event the person will cherish for a long time
