Make Your Event Epic: Jenn Johnson Talks Destination Wedding

So you’re planning your wedding. Congrats. You want very much to create an experience that your guests will never forget, and will inspire those in love. You want your wedding to be the most memorable occasion of your life for many years. You want the occasion to be the reality of what you dreamed of.

But in reality, today’s climate things has changed. There are restrictions put in place that must be followed for your safety and those of our community, and around the world. In the age of COVID-19, aka Coronavirus, social distancing, wearing a mask is not optional without taking unnecessary risks.

This has definitely added to one’s stress level when planning any social event.

We all have questions such as, how many guests can I invite to my wedding? How safe is the venue? What are there sanitizing practices? What would be the engagement with the staff on the premises? Will I be able to secure vendors during these challenging times? And the questions go on and on.

If you thought hiring a wedding planner was optional pre-COVID19, think again. Hiring a professional that is experienced to know how to help you navigate these murky waters of rules, and successfully make this the most epic event is going to require a special kind of planner. Now add planning a destination to complicate things even further.

You were set on traveling, and inviting your guests to attend your wedding, and have a vacation while they’re at it. A two for one. Now traveling has become complicated. If you can get out of your country.

Have no fear. We at WBM have done our homework and found you a two for one. Meet wedding planner extraordinaire Jennifer Johnson founder of Jenn Events.

Jenn Johnson, who is known for having created the buzz of destination weddings before the idea had occurred to the masses, has built an incredible network of luxury event professionals in the Caribbean paradise including internationally renowned photographers and DJs; French-trained chefs; breathtaking decor planning; exclusive transportation services to and from the island by way of a private yacht, hopper, or helicopter; and design houses presenting the season’s newest trends in bridal wear.

Jenn, as those who lovingly know her, calls her, is embarking on a new venture. She has acquired Epic Presentations, which was the premier event planning company on the Island of St. Barts. Her new company promises the same collaborations that have been popular with celebrities and the elite alike plus the pivots that will be necessary as the industry evolves due to the Coronavirus.

“The luxury market is changing drastically. I think not only are we going to have an uptick of intimate events, but I think we’re going to have an uptick of elopements,” said Johnson. “We will cater to all of our guests’ luxury needs with what we call our ‘7-star service, no matter the size of the guest list.”

Johnson is working with clients to foresee necessary changes for events booked in 2020 but is steadily booking events for 2021. “We are working with our guests to pivot as needed for their events. What we really want people to know is that St. Barts is waiting and we are going to be there whenever they are.”

So while we know there may be challenges planning any even let alone a wedding during “normal” circumstances. Know that when you have a professional that is qualified, any circumstance can be managed with the proper guidance. And as far as we are concerned, Jenn and her Epic Team are set to help you navigate through these time and help you create the most memorable experiences you can ever imagine, in the paradise that awaits you in St. Barts.
