Meet Us At Hampton Classic Horse Show 2022

The Hamptons, is located on eastern Long Island’s South Fork, is a series of seaside communities famously know as their summer destination for affluent New York City residents, celebrities, and notable figures. Its beaches, perfectly manicured green lawns, and farmlands are just some of the attractions that make it one of the most sought after destinations to see and be seen. Its towns and villages is home to a variety of 18th-century shingle buildings and estates that are hidden behind tall boxwood hedges that will leave you breathless. East Hampton is home to high-end restaurants, bars and designer boutiques such as Valentino, Chanel, Cartier, and Ralph Lauren to name a few.

But behind all the glitz and glamour is a community of generous givers that help to raise awareness for various causes that support the safety of the weakest among us, children and the elderly. I had the opportunity to meet the likes of Isaac Boots, who literally can gather these extraordinary women from all over the region, and even as far as Philadelphia and Connecticut to come work out with him and raise some $2 million dollars. But that is for another article.

This article we will focus on another extraordinary organization Hampton Classic Horse Show that takes place annually that I feel is a community party or some sort of family reunion. This event is probably the best way to end the summer and usher in the fall right before New York Fashion Week.

We had the honor of chatting with the amazing Shanette Barth Cohen, Executive Director, for Hampton Classic Horse Show, Inc. in Bridgehampton, New York. As we chatted it was hard for me to believe she has dedicated 17 years of her life to the organization. You can hear the joy in her voice as she describes her commitment to the organization and how she herself was once a participant of the annual festivities.

The Hampton Classic continues to support several charitable organizations including Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, the Kevin Babington Foundation and Sag Harbor Food Pantry. Everyone who comes to the Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday with three or more non-perishable food items for the Sag Harbor Food Pantry will have their entire car admitted free.

Daily admission to the Classic is $20 per carload (cash at the gate only). Admission is free on Monday; seniors and military are also admitted free on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Grandstand tickets for the $410,000 Hampton Classic Grand Prix on Sunday, September 4, are $55 per person for reserved bucket seating. Grandstand tickets are electronic only; E-Tickets are provided thanks to support from Green is the New Blue.

The Hampton Classic is pleased to continue its relationship with ShowNet by offering its services FREE to all exhibitors. Services include: Orders of Go; Live Ring Status; and Live Results.

Now why would a bridal magazine be interested in a horse show–well I am glad you asked. Who wouldn’t want to get married in The Hamptons? If beach scenes and green pastures is what you are looking for, look no further– they have it. Besides the iconic locations such as Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, there are a variety of beautiful locations to stay at if you plan well in advance.

If you plan to wed in the Hamptons there will be plenty to do or nothing to do…your choice. One of the most anticipated activity to plan your trip around is the Hampton Classic Horse Show. It will not only be something entertaining to do for you and your beloved. But it will give any traveling guests the time of their lives while supporting a good cause because it is a 501c company.

So before the summer ends, grab your tickets and head over to the Bridge Hampton and enjoy the festivities.
