First Class Guest Lounge Inspired by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2015 - Official Coverage - People And Atmosphere Day 5

With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week still on our brain, I can’t help but reflect on the beautiful chaos that comes with Fashion Week. As excited as I was for it to begin, I was glad when it was over. Backstage of New York City Fashion Week can be similar to the organized chaos that will indefinitely rear its ugly head as your wedding party scrambles to make last minute adjustments before your big I do’s. I was elated to experience an oasis of relaxation in between all the mayhem called the Mercedes-Benz Lounge.

The Mercedes-Benz Lounge came equipped with lite bites, refreshments, and a relaxed atmosphere. There was light music and a full screen highlighting all the fashion shows that were taking place. Guests were reflecting on the shows they just witnessed and regrouping before the next turn of events.

I recall attending a wedding this past summer where the guests, including myself, became annoyed because the ceremony started an hour and half late. Luckily, the hall where the wedding was being held had a bar that accommodated me until the ceremony started. We would like to think that our wedding will start on time and everything will go as planned; as beautiful as that thought is, it is not realistic.

Do your guests a favor and give them a comfortable space where they can wait and will most definitely appreciate. In-laws engaging for the first time, will probably be much more pleasant with one another in a lounge than in those hard wooden chairs waiting for you to walk down the isle. You will be the talk of the town, and it won’t be for being tardy to the party.
