Traditional vs. Trendy…. That is the million dollar question! When choosing the right hairstyle for your wedding day you want to make sure that it fits you and complement your dress very well. Different necklines can sometimes determine if you should wear your hair in a pin up or down. There are so many options, be open to explore and try them.

With traditional looks such as chignon can be transformed in multiples ways. Two strand twisted, voluminous with a pompadour, you can add a flower or jewelry, or soft bangs swept to the side for a dramatic over the eye effect. Then there is the classic bun. It can be worn up high or low messy or tight, blunt bangs or long wispy bangs. Curly hair is also great for an angelic look.

Going with a more trendy look can be done with revamping the traditional “Half up Half down” adding braids or waves. Braids are so beautiful and look enchanting around the crown of the head, giving the perfect princess look.

For shorter hair try waves or a sculpted look that frames your face. And if that’s too much sleek and sophisticated is forever traditional and trendy.

Whatever your decision may be to a fierce ‘fro, long locks or a shaved head it’s your day! Have fun, be bold, be creative but most importantly be yourself. We don’t have to wear our mother’s hairstyles anymore. So will you be “traditional” or “trendy.” Either way, on that beautiful you will be what’s “TRENDING.”
