How would you define the distinctive style of Dovita Milano’s dresses?
Dovita Milano’s style is a crossover between classic and contemporary. Our dresses are designed to enhance the female figure, combining clean lines and elegant silhouettes with surprisingly modern details, such as innovative lace inserts and elaborate decorations. We believe in the power of simplicity combined with boldness, thus creating garments that are both timeless and avant-garde.
Where do you draw inspiration from, and how do you turn the idea into reality?
Inspiration can come from anywhere: a work of art, nature, fashion history, or even a simple everyday moment. Once an idea takes shape, the transformation process begins with the dress sketch, followed by fabric selection, and finally tailor-made realization in our atelier. We collaborate closely with expert artisans to ensure that every detail is perfect and that each dress is a work of art in itself.

Can you tell us about the new laboratory in the center of Milan?
Our newly inaugurated laboratory in the Navigli area of Milan represents a vibrant heart of creativity and innovation. We use high-end fabrics from prestigious Italian manufacturers, like Elitex, ensuring an unmatched final product quality. Furthermore, in line with our commitment to social responsibility, we have welcomed Ukrainian tailors, offering them opportunities in a time of need, thus contributing to an environment rich in talent and diversity.

For 2025, Dovita Milano has outdone itself with four new collections, each destined to enchant:
– Le Jardin: A premium collection of glamorous dresses, designed for brides who wish to feel like true princesses on their special day.
– In Love with: Dedicated to brides who appreciate elegance and minimalism, this collection enhances pure beauty with clean lines and refined designs.
– Megapolis: The trendiest collection, featuring short dresses perfect for the afterparty, ideal for the modern bride who wants to have fun with style.
– Moments: A romantic and elegant collection, for brides who love unique details and “hand embroidery” with 3D elements, adding a touch of magic to each dress.
You recently participated in the Cannes Film Festival; how did that happen?
During the last Cannes Film Festival, we had the opportunity to dress the Italian actress Antonella Salvucci in our Gloria Black dress. This dress, perfect for glamorous and extraordinary occasions, shone on the red carpet, once again demonstrating the versatility and splendor of our designs, suitable for both weddings and the most sparkling events.
