Where & How Did You Meet?

We first crossed paths in 2007, while in sixth grade at Atlanta International School. Despite some squabbles during our middle school years, we managed to reconcile and forge a strong friendship by ninth grade. Our bond only grew stronger over time. Matei later invited Neeki to senior prom, and together, we pursued our studies at Georgia Tech. After completing college, our friendship evolved into something more profound: romance.

Where Did You Get Married & Why Did You Pick That Location?

InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta: we fell in love with the bright and airy ambiance of the hotel. As two flower lovers, we adored the lush hotel lobby and gorgeous garden, which felt both classic and reflective of our personalities. We held our welcome party the night before our wedding at Atlanta International School.

What Was The Most Important Thing To Each Of You When Planning Your Wedding?

Ensuring a memorable guest experience was our top priority. Graced with the presence of family and friends from around the world, we felt truly blessed amidst our grand wedding celebration. Our foremost goal was to convey our heartfelt love and appreciation to our guests throughout the day, acknowledging that their affection and friendship have greatly influenced the people we have become.

What Does Family Mean To You?

We saw our wedding not only as the union of ourselves but also as the merging of our families. It’s a great fortune that our families have been close long before we even started dating. We’re deeply thankful to our parents, Neeki’s sister, and Matei’s brother for their steadfast and unconditional love. Their presence played a vital role in creating the dreamy and perfect atmosphere that surrounded our wedding day.

What Tips Would You Give To A Couple Planning Their Wedding?

Remain positive and grateful throughout the entire experience! Despite meticulous planning, unexpected glitches are inevitable on the wedding day. However, they only impact your experience if you allow them to. Your guests may remain oblivious, but they’ll easily discern your happiness. Embrace the moment—it goes by so fast!
