Serax, a brand committed to sustainable living, has partnered with the avant-garde Italian fashion house Marni to create a stunning 120-piece porcelain tableware set. This collaboration exemplifies Serax’s dedication to timeless design and environmental responsibility.

At the core of Serax’s sustainability ethos is the creation of products that are not just desired, but built to last. The company works with artisans who share their commitment to sustainability, embracing the unique imperfections of handcrafted items. Serax encourages customers to cherish these pieces for a lifetime, moving away from disposable culture towards a more sustainable relationship with everyday objects.

Recognizing its environmental impact, Serax has taken significant steps to reduce its ecological footprint. The company had its entire production chain audited by Futureproofed, revealing that over 70% of carbon emissions are linked to production. In response, Serax has pledged to reduce fuel consumption, transition to renewable energy, and collaborate with suppliers to lower their environmental impact.
Serax’s commitment extends to responsible packaging, using FSC-certified cardboard for all products. The company also offers carbon-neutral shipping, offsetting emissions through investments in environmental projects.

The collaboration with Marni brings together Serax’s sustainability practices and Marni’s artistic vision. Created by Marni’s Creative Director Francesco Risso, the tableware set features a nature-inspired flower motif applied to fine bone china using decals and glazing for durability. The slightly asymmetrical shapes of the pieces highlight the quality of the hand-finished porcelain, embodying both brands’ commitment to unique, enduring design.

This partnership showcases how sustainability and high-end design can coexist, creating products that are both environmentally conscious and aesthetically pleasing.
