It is very important to plan spa treatments for day of the wedding “radiant skin”  at least 6 months prior to your wedding day. You might want to consider trying several monthly treatments that will condition and prepare your skin properly before your special wedding weekend spa appointment.

The spa experience helps the Bride and Bride Moms to be more relaxed and creates a lasting memory for you both.

When planning a comprehensive spa experience we would like to recommend the following do’s and don’ts.

Do: If you desire radiant skin, begin monthly skin care treatments especially if you never had a treatment before.

Don’t: Wait until the day before your wedding to receive a peel treatment. If you desire radiant, firm, smooth skin began treatments several months prior.

Do: If you have never had nail enhancements before and that is your desire for your big day several months before your wedding, this allows you to get accustomed to it.

Don’t:  Purchase long nails for your wedding if you have never worn extensions

Do: When hosting a destination wedding we recommend nail enhancements so you have no worries regarding your nails. There are a variety of nail enhancement options; Gel Nails, Acrylic, and Wraps. Each option is temporary and provides the final touch for viewing your gorgeous ring all weekend.

The latest and newest technology are a couple of interesting options  the Gel Polished Manicure or Shellac, these last for 14 days and for a Bride that lacks the desire of UV you have a 10 day manicure Vinlylux.

If you elect to simply polish your nails, make sure you invest in an excellent top coat to apply every other day to secure color is long lasting.

Do: I recommend removing as much hair off your body as possible before your wedding. If you have not waxed please begin this process six months prior –

The following areas should be considered for waxing;  Under arms, full leg, eye brows design, upper lip, chin and side burns and of course, the Brazilian bikini wax.

Don’t: Try to wax yourself to save money, you might compromise your skin and increase skin sensitivity.

We would highly advise having regular massages leading up to your special day and especially the day prior to the festivities will aide in your relaxation.

Of course, this spa experience would be enhanced with a toast to your big day and your new life journey. You have done all you can do and you are now ready for this incredible life journey… Ready, Set, Go… Get Married!!!
