Dany Mizrachi, acclaimed Israeli designer, recently celebrated his 25 year anniversary holding his position in the fashion world as one of the most respected designers. Known for years for ‘his signature cutting edge, high end, one of a kind bridal creations’. Cutting edge is an excellent way to describe his style.
His Fall 2017 runway show consisted of sexy silhouettes, edgy cut outs and bare it all sheer gowns that some may think are better suitable for a fashion editorial, or red carpet then down an aisle. This is not to say the collection was not visually stunning, just not the traditional gowns that your ‘average’ bride may be privy to. The collection had a range of different styles that incorporated various fashion trends; from classic 20″s Gatsby styles to ‘the cold shoulder’ draped with metal fringe, a range of styles for a multitude of women.
Some styles in the collection were ideal for your tropical beach wedding, light weight fabrics, sheer paneling, and sky high slits, all the necessary details for a wedding in paradise. The two modern menswear inspired bridal jumpsuits that graced the runway were show stoppers, designs you can envision at any red carpet event. Overall Mizrachi’s Fall 17 collection showcased a lengthy number of gowns all with intricate detailing that made each design unique. Dany Mizrachi continues to ‘wow’ his audience in a manner that keeps each and everyone one of us coming back to see more every NYBFW.
