Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida is the one place you don’t mind the constant sunshine. As I deplane the flight coming from New York, leaving the fridged cold of New York City, I can’t seem to take off the layers of clothing fast enough.
As I make my way through the exit doors, I am greeted by a driver holding up my name. The 20 minutes drive, if that is breathtaking–palm trees, blue skies, and the oceanside beach view will be my home for the next four days.
As the vehicle pulls up to the driveway of The Diplomat Beach Resort, I can’t help but feel the excitement bubbling in my stomach. I simply want to run through the hallway and scream with excitement.
After checking in and grab the keys to the room, I rush to my suite, and every inch of the room was perfectly designed with art, color, and filled with texture just enough for me.
As I make my way to the balcony to take in my view– I just can’t begin to describe to you the beauty from the window that was steps away from the soft haven of a bed that will be mine the next four days as I explore the beautiful region of Florida.
