Island Dreaming | Summer 2023 Cover Story

The goal of our cover shoot was to inspire brides with wardrobe choices that fly under the radar—introducing you to vintage, sustainable, timeless pieces for your honeymoon or destination wedding. The Dutch island of Curaçao served as the backdrop for our model, Keyshla Roman, who played the bridal role in these pages.

Luckily, packing for a Caribbean island tends to be on the light side, with mostly bikinis and beachy dresses, but a wedding adds an extra layer (and maybe even an extra suitcase) to the deal. That said, big, poofy ball gowns are out of the question unless you want to pay for freight. These coastal wardrobe options will glow up your Instagram feed as much as the turquoise waters and painted towns of Curaçao itself. Take heart and make beautiful memories!
