We love finding new fashion brands at World Bride so that we can inform and delight our brides-to-be. Jaline Resort is a collection of timeless dresses and easy separates with a subtle sexiness perfect for your post-wedding vacation. Wherever your honeymoon takes you, Jaline has something special for you.
Jacqueline Lopez, the Creative Director and designer’s philosophy is to remove zippers and hardware so that the dresses slip easily over your head. It’s all about effortless luxury and stepping out from the fashion industry’s revolving door of trendiness. Silhouettes from Jaline will likely be in your wardrobe for years and years because of the classic styling. But classic does not mean boring. Lopez incorporates fun detailing like bell sleeves, tassels, colorful prints, or macramé borders to up the style quotient. Her use of natural fabrics like silk and cotton not only feels delicious on your skin but keeps the brand environmentally sustainable.

Ms. Lopez’s penchant for timeless clothing was culled from a career at Italian brands like Maxmara and Agnona where she was influenced by the quiet luxury ethos. But the lightbulb clicked while living in Oaxaca, Mexico several years ago. She became intrigued by the textiles and handicraft techniques of local artisans. With her fashion luxury experience and love of Mexican artisanal textiles, she embarked on Jaline Resort. The collection has evolved from its inception, but her ethos remains.“Meeting and speaking with the artisans, I was struck by their dedication and pride in their work. Within these traditional techniques and the openness of the artisans, I saw an opportunity to create something together with them—a collection that showcased their work, embedded in a long history of textiles in this region.”
Lopez’s spent her childhood summers in Spain with family which encouraged a life of travel, and no doubt influenced her designs. Her love of art, sculpting, textiles, and collecting vintage jewelry are part of her recipe for Jaline. The brand’s 10-year evolution is taking a new turn. Its next chapter will be in Oaxaca Mexico where a boutique/ art space is in the works for 2025. Stay tuned.
