Madafi Pierre
Born in Miami, Florida, Madafi Pierre is an independent researcher, playwright, documentary filmmaker, multi-media artist and public speaker who lectures on topics such as the Haitian diaspora, race, migration, and the global impact of American culture in communication and media.
For over two decades, Madafi has been giving lectures in both academic and artistic spaces, sharing her research on language in the context of Americana culture, and the geopolitical impact and relevance of the Haitian Revolution. Having grown up in a multilingual household and raised between the US and Europe, it’s no surprise that she nows lives in Switzerland and teaches business communication at the world’s leading hospitality business school (EHL Lausanne). There Madafi works closely with developing the students’ soft skills and preparing them for internships and careers in the world of luxury and hospitality.
