Get A Little Taste Of Love Created By FOMO

This time of the year is filled with great cheers, the family gets together, dinners and love. And part of that joy comes from the sweets we get to enjoy which are reminiscent of our childhood, and the home-baked goods our moms or grandparents make for us.

But for so many it hasn’t been always enjoyable due to certain allergies, health concerns brought on by certain ingredients in our favorite products. That was the case for the founder of FOMO, Brittany Baker. Her love of sweets came to a halt when she developed allergies and instead of cutting it out of her diet completely, which nowadays would be impossible, she rolled up her sleeves and created a solution and formed FOMO and she now promises to have the solution to all your health concerns without Fear Of Missing Out on the goodies.

Brittany Baker, whose celiac disease diagnosis led to an interest in food allergies and intolerances, which eventually prompted her  to give  up a high-profile legal career to devote herself to the creation of major food allergen-and-preservative- free sweet treats

Our conversation proved to be very enlightening and we were excited to share with you our readers how you can add FOMO to your list of vendors for treats that are not only pleasant to look at but that won’t impact your health and that of your guests.

The Taste Taste

Before sharing the information with you all, we had to do the taste test. Once we were introduced to the products, I placed my order, and within days the fresh order of a variety of goodies well packaged arrived at my doorstep. I quickly set up my Hermes Africa Collection tea set and a good book to savor the moment.

I was not disappointed. To my surprise, they were moist, tasty since I pride myself on being a connoisseur of all sorts of desserts, from cakes, cookies, ice creams, exotic fruits, teas, and liquors. It got sugar–I’m there. Clean, without any artificial elements, sourced from suppliers which certify the products purchased are free of gluten, dairy, egg, soy, peanut, and tree nut. All ingredients are either produced on dedicated lines free of these allergens, at dedicated facilities free of those allergens or certified that there is no possibility of cross-contamination. In addition to being certified gluten-free, the oats used by FOMO are grown under purity protocol.

Fresh, small-batch baked-to-order sweet treats with a rich taste and soft, moist, and chewy texture that belies the fact they contain none of the major food allergens – gluten, dairy, egg, peanut, tree nut, and soy.  Created by a sufferer of celiac disease who oversees the production of every batch in a purpose-built kitchen to assure the elimination of cross-contamination, they are also free of preservatives and any artificial ingredients.

FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) refers to what the company’s founder often experienced given her restricted diet.  She established her bakery to make products that so perfectly mimic conventionally baked desserts, they purge FOMO.  They do so not only for those with food allergies but for the friends and family with whom they share the sweet treats because there is no taste or texture indicator that they are “free” of anything.

After enjoying the experience, It brings me great delight to share with you FOMO by the lovely Brittnay Baker.
