Nestled behind greenery on 64th Street, off Lexington Avenue, in New York City, is the Vanessa Noel shoe boutique where women step into fantasy. Whether planning a gala and in need of “that shoe” or planning a wedding and in need of “The Shoe,’ Vanessa Noel is in the now.
“My shoes are not for everyone,” explains Vanessa from her showroom perched above the store and filled with hundreds of shoes, boots, slides, sandals, and stilettos. Surrounded by luxurious materials, Vanessa continues, “We use the finest fabrics, leathers and skins: work with the best factories in Italy: and use proven lasts that allow for style and comfort.”
“I’ve always designed for the modern woman, her many moods, and how she has changed. Our clients return year after year with wonderful stories behind each shoe.”
Many of these stories are seen in the pages of fashion and style publications with women coming to Vanessa to get their ultimate footwear wardrobe. in 2006, Vanessa Noel was one of the first luxury shoe brands to support World Bride Magazine, the first bridal publication to recognize and celebrate diversity and inclusivity across the globe in the wedding industry.
Along with Vanessa’s success as an entrepreneur in the shoe world, she is also recognized as a unique Hotelier ( Vanessa Noel Hotel and The Green on Nantucket), and multiple restaurants. She is active in the philanthropic community of NYC, Jamaica, and Nantucket while currently driving the initiative to create for America, in New York City, the first shoe museum.
