Wassup fellas! I see you working out, hitting that chest, arms, and back, and I love to see it! You look great, bro! But I gotta keep it 100 with you… You could be looking better. Now, what do I mean by that? Let me ask you this… when’s the last time you hit your legs, especially your calves? Huh? When’s the last time you hit all three heads of your shoulders to give you that 3-dimensional look when you turn to the side? And when’s the last time you hit those abs? Been a minute, huh? Don’t worry, bro, I’m here to help. Iron sharpens iron, so let’s get to it.

Legs (Especially Calves)
Now, I know it’s gruesome, boring, and takes a lot of time and energy to train legs. However, did you know that your legs are the biggest muscles on your body and hold the most testosterone? Studies show training legs 2X a week helps boost your body’s metabolism tremendously! I’m talking squats, leg press, leg extensions, and leg curls. Now, your calves are a very stubborn muscle, so you must train them almost 3-4 times a week if needed. I know doing that isn’t the most macho-man workout, and no woman cares how much you can calf raise. However, everyone loves a perfectly proportionate man.
Shoulders (Rear Delts Matter!)
We know you know all about shoulder pressing and side lateral raises to train the front and side of your shoulders, but do you know how to train your rear deltoids? That’s the most overlooked muscle on the male body. Your rear delts give your back that complete look, really adding to your overall back development. Doing bent-over rear delt flys with cables or dumbbells works like a charm. Make sure you use moderate weight and keep those elbows pointed to the sky to really target this area.

Abs
Now, as you know (or you should know), to get your abdomen to show, you need to watch what you eat, because let’s face it: abs are made in the kitchen. However, there are benefits to training abs beyond just the aesthetic aspect of it. A strong core goes a long way, especially when performing compound lifts such as squats, deadlifts, and bench press. A strong core also is beneficial for daily tasks, such as carrying groceries or even walking up the stairs. A little belly is cool because we aren’t trying to compete in a bodybuilding show, but a strong, visible core will separate you from the rest of the guys at the beach and in the bedroom.
Great talk, king. Now go out there and show them the best proportionate version of you.
