The success of Dar Tamsna led to other ventures, including the restoration of a historic house in Marrakech’s Medina that redefined the concept of lifestyle retail years before the term became fashionable. Then came the opportunity that would change everything. In 2000, Meryanne purchased the land where JNANE TAMSNA now stands. “I felt there was a growing demand for a different kind of hospitality,” she explained. “A place connected to nature, with organic gardens, where guests could enjoy the atmosphere of a private estate while booking individual rooms.”
A Living Estate, Not a Hotel. Spread across ten acres in Marrakech’s breathtaking Palmeraie, JNANE TAMSNA is unlike any property I have ever experienced. Five houses are woven into a botanical paradise cultivated by Meryanne’s husband, a passionate botanist whose vision transformed the landscape into a living work of art.
