Edmond Théry, a man of many talents and a renowned economist, fell in love with a château in Sologne and had a reproduction built at la Beaumetane.
A beautiful square-shaped design with red bricks, the Château is visible from afar and remains captivating as you approach.
For the last 40 years, the Château has belonged to the Ambrosio family, wine-makers in Lambesc in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Wishing to maintain the beauty of this unique place, the family decided to restore it in 2013, to live here and to open the doors of the Château to the world in the way it deserved. Nathalie and Mike will be happy to help you experience a taste of life in the Château.
The grand openings between the rooms allow communication and easy access from one reception room to another. The château’s grounds are exceptional and are fully-enclosed. The shade of the 29 century-old plane trees provides some welcome coolness during the hot summer days of Provence.
On passing through the magnificent wrought iron gates, and discovering this charming château entirely enclosed by ancient walls and railings, you will immediately be greeted by the sumptuous stained glass conservatory which draws you in to relax and, from thereon, the charm takes over. All around the spacious grounds, the leafy plane trees give a luxurious touch to the Provencal landscape with its vineyards, hills and pines. Flights of steps and terraces on each side of the château add to its character.
The interior views onto the shady grounds with the majestic plane trees further add to the magic sparked by these initial impressions. The high ceilings, chandeliers, fireplaces, mouldings and woodwork, parquet flooring and tiles, the magnificent staircases, all these exquisite small details make the Château la Beaumetane the kind of place that dreams are made of.
For your receptions, you will benefit from an elegant interior space with magnificent wooden floors and paneling that can accommodate up to 120 people seated in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The superb conservatory is at your disposal to relax, while the dance floor is a flexible space and is soundproofed for the comfort of your guests.
To organize a special event to celebrate a unique moment such as a wedding or other family celebration, Château la Beaumetane offers an exceptional setting and we will assist you in creating an unforgettable event, which will be etched into your personal history and that of your relatives and friends. The Wedding District project was born, from our experiences in the world of weddings, our travels, this daily interaction with various cultures on every social level.
It strengthened our experiences in The Destination Wedding arena. We have witnessed a shift in the market in the past several years, more and more foreign couples come to France to wed, and more and more French couples traveling to the US and elsewhere to marry.
Our partnership as two wedding professionals with different strengths makes us a perfect complement to each other. We see differences between cultures, countries, wedding styles, and budgets. .We love two countries passionately: France and the USA.
The Mission Of The Wedding District is to bring together all of our knowledge and experiences with our team of wedding professionals to present a couple the best experience we can on their wedding day in an industry we love that is ever growing.
