With experience in the United Kingdom’s exacting hospitality industry and two young children in tow, the beginning of Weddings on Samui unexpectedly and organically started with Juliette arranging a couple of close friends’ weddings in Koh Samui. At the time, juggling two children and a full-time job just wasn’t feasible, but as the children grew, so did Weddings on Samui. She’s built some formidable relationships with her suppliers and continues to use them and work seamlessly together.
The island has seen a gradual influx of talented individuals move to the island, providing hairdressing and makeup services, photography, catering and wedding cakes. In 2012, Koh Samui had limited resources for décor, flowers, cakes, food and drinks. Collectively, wedding planners on the island searched and researched for reputable sources and suppliers, but in the end, various event companies purchased the necessary equipment for flawless weddings. They worked cohesively together and transformed Koh Samui into a breathtaking world-class wedding destination.
