Sev Mod designer Kia Kryeziu was born in the heart of Kosovo and raised in Croatia. As refugees, she and her family migrated to Germany, fleeing the raging war that threatened to break the family apart.
World Bride Magazine is delighted to have discovered this gem of a designer who emerged out of a war-ridden region formerly known as Yugoslavia.
Now settled in the German fashion metropolis Düsseldorf, Kia’s label “Sev Mod” has become known for its haute couture fusion of haptic, sensuality and art. The Sev Mod collection is a cheerful combination of immaculately tailored constructions and the artistic experiment of fabrics, shapes and colors.
Her gowns always maintain an avant-garde look, crowned with her comfortable yet fashionable signature esthetic that she is known for. Her desire: to create wearable seductive art for the confident woman of today. Kia’s inspiration lies in the essences of a fashion-forward gracious appearance. With creativity, flair and sensitivity, she manages to emphasize the personality of every woman she dresses.
Through her oversized collars, her picturesque mix of shells, feathers, lace and satin, her meticulous sleeves and contour-fitted dresses, this Balkan beauty transforms female silhouettes by meshing a woman’s curves with her personality.
