We thought we might share a story on how to prepare your teeth for your big day. You certainly don’t want to have that broken tooth still broken when you smile and of course, you must have your teeth glistening in the photos. So we found this incredible dentist who does amazing work to make you comfortable with your smile.
I met Dr. Chase over the telephone, I don’t know if that was because I couldn’t bear the thought of going into another dental office. I am “THAT” girl, I am such a punk in the dental chair. I must say it was because I have had terrible experiences and lost loads of money not receiving the promises from those dentists. Dr. Chase has been in practice with an emphasis on natural tooth preservation and oral health for more than 17 years. He is, of course, affiliated with the American Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, and Academy of General Dentistry.
So, why am I now impressed? Well there was something about his voice that put me at ease and made me believe him. Now, I am a tele-marketer from way back. In those scenarios you really had to have extraordinary listening skills to get to know high-level customers.
Dr. Chase has been in this business a long time and has experience with all of the latest and not so latest technologies. He is proficient in an array of dental methodologies from Cosmetic Dentistry – which is the new hotness, it is about making teeth look the way they should and making them look, feel and last like your own teeth to Orthodontics – moving and shifting teeth and making them sturdy, Veneers – which change the color and shape of your teeth and Implants that replace missing teeth and of course, the big fad – Whitening teeth this is a very interesting because there are several types of treatments – from bleaching to heat activated to zoom whiting. I did learn a couple of things that you might want to consider sharing with your partner:
Orthodontic Dentistry– When your teeth are misaligned or don’t come together properly, the result can range from mild discomfort and the embarrassment of crooked teeth to severe pain, popping, clicking, and headaches caused by TMJ disorders. At SmilesNY they are Invisalign® certified. Think about how great this would be for your wedding photos and smiling as you meet all your new in-laws.
Restorative Dentistry– Restorative dentistry is a specialty that the SmilesNY folks are really working on all aspects to restore your teeth and smile. They are accustomed to conducting a full study which may take a couple of months in your schedule to be ready for your special day. They can redo your silver fillings or even repair broken or chipped teeth. Sometimes, restoring the health and function of your smile requires a combination of advanced procedures.
Sometimes Dr. Chase is checking to be sure that your oral health is working in concert with your physical health – because everything in our body is working together. Did you know that your dental health is one of the best indicators of your overall health? Scientific studies have linked oral health issues to coronary artery disease, premature birth, low birth weight, and diabetes.
We discussed what you might consider for your upcoming wedding celebration weekend. First, this dental plan should be included in your wedding calendar planning. You want to have your procedures within enough time ahead of your wedding day so all of your work is done without any stress.
Start at least one year out – now if you are having any procedures, you might be missing an important tooth, and require restorative dentistry or you might want to try to align a couple teeth with the invisalign braces. This all seems like a lot – but you only do this once! Make certain that your special day kicks off the great habits that you and your mate will have for a long time to come. The investment for great oral hygiene can range from $100 to $50K depending on the extent of work you would like done. We all invest in what is important and quite frankly – we need to do this with regularity.
If I had to do it all over again and make another investment that would give me a great return (ROI) I would give Dr. Chase a call. There was just something about his vision that lets me know he is competent and capable.
