My Love Letter To You: Find Your Peace

It’s our 20th anniversary. There is a quiet kind of courage that lives in the heart long before the world ever sees it. It is the courage to believe in something that does not yet exist—and to build it anyway.

This publication was born from that courage. From a dream to create a space where love, diversity, beauty, travel, marriage, and family could be seen, honored, and celebrated across cultures—long before the world called it a movement or a trend. It was never just about pages or photographs. It was about people. About stories. About connection.

There were moments, many of them, when I questioned everything. Wondering if I could sustain it. Wondering if it was a business or simply a dream I refused to let go of. Times were tough—and if I am honest, they still are. But success, I have learned, is not defined by ease or comfort. It is not even defined by the ability to provide, though I am grateful that it has allowed me to care for myself and my family.

My true success is found in the lessons. In the friendships that became family. In the doors that may have opened for others who, like me, were chasing something bigger than themselves while trying to sustain their lives.

I did not come from legacy publishing houses. I had no formal training. But proximity sparked belief, and belief gave me the audacity to begin—and the resilience to continue.

If I have done anything right, I hope it is this: that I have created something that reminds others they, too, can begin. That they can define success on their own terms. That they can share the spotlight, build community, and lead with heart.

Family and marriage are not just words—they are sacred spaces where love is given, received, and nurtured. Though their forms may evolve, their purpose remains the same.

This issue is dedicated to those who have walked this journey with me, and to those we carry in spirit—especially Melanie Harris, Christopher Kolk, and fellow publisher Grace Ormonde, whose presence, support, and contributions have left an indelible mark on this path.

Thank you for believing.

With love and grace,
Myrdith
