In today’s climate it may be difficult to get an appointment for a makeup artist for your wedding. Now more than ever you will need to go beyond viewing the artists portfolio skills. You need to know their sanitizing habits among other things.
We caught with one of our favorite beauty experts, and contributor to WBM’s Real Bride Real Beauty contest makeup artists Michela Wariebi.
Wariebi has a stellar resume in the beauty industry. Her career as a beauty expert is a mix of being an educator, an artist, and a brand ambassador for the industry’s most notable brands. Just for your edification, we are going to name a few: Pat McGrath Labs, Mehron Makeup, Beauty Blender, Make Up Forever, Black Opal, and Danesse Myricks Beauty to name a few.
Wariebi does more than simply paint a face, she is impeccable when it comes to prepping the skin. Flawless. Can’t create a masterpiece without the right canvas.
It is her ability to be keen about details is why I am sure she made the team for The Disney Production of “Black Is King” where she was able to skillfully paint the green and black look we see Beyonce rocking during the movie.
“Makeup is where art and science meet,” Michala says. And her inspiration for art is inspired by her cultural roots and years of training.
So with all of that behind her, we have no problem recommending her to you our precious readers for an artist worthy of consideration for your wedding.
